Gypsy has its Tannery established in the year 2018. Since then we have come a long way producing almost every type of leather for clothing. Sensing the dynamics of the Global Market, we always head towards new product development to meet the latest trends in fashion industry.
With a total area of 40,000 sq.ft, the tannery has the best group of Human Resources, Technicians and Apt Machinery.

Cutting & Drawing
Leather cutting is done with two mediums, knife cutting, and clicking machines. Knife cutting is specially done for cutting leather garments to achieve correctness and accuracy of the margin all around the cut bundle. This reduces the extra effort of scissors cuttings later.
​
Our leather cutting is based on the patterns, which are made through pattern systems. We have separate set pattern only to use for cutting, and we prepare multiple sets so as the sharpness and curves of the pattern are not compromised.
Sewing Line
Our sewing division for leather garments is passed through lot process, after cutting and checking of leather bundles, it is put on the marking table, where we make stitch markings, on which our tailors run. With high mechanized stitching machines of JUKI, and with a checker at every line , we monitor quality and consistency.
​
Our stitch department is working in both ways of line system and piece rate system. With high checkpoint after every 5-7 tables.

Finishing
Our finishing has equipped with the latest machinery along with trained personnel to provide perfectly finished products.
The finishing process comprises the variety of activities such as thread cuttings, checking for protruding threads, stains, pressing, leveling of the garments on dress forms, checking of balancing of garments.
The quality aspect of finishing includes the initial checking of garments for any manufacturing/stitching defects, stains, etc.
The final audit of garments includes 100% measurement check as well as the final verification of garments regarding balancing and visual appearance and hand-feel of the final product.

Packing
After the final audit, each garment goes through a final inspection by the merchandisers and third party inspection so as to ensure topmost quality.
Once it’s cleared, the garment goes for packing and finally to the client. All the packing flat or hanger packed is done as per the norms and requirement of specific customer.
​
Once goods are packed and sealed in the boxes, the final check of the count of packed pcs is done by the Security personnel to control wrong or short packing of garments. It acts as a cross-check to avoids any discrepancies.
